Bareboat charters are placed on BIMCO Barecon 2017. Towage agreements use Towhire 2008. Specialist vessel charters may use BIMCO Heavycon, Windtime or other appropriate forms depending on the vessel type and operation. For DP-class vessels, ELYON verifies the vessel’s DP Equipment Class certificate, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) documentation, and Annual DP Trials records before mobilisation. Officers assigned to DP watch on ELYON-chartered vessels hold current Nautical Institute DP Certificates at the required competency level (DP Operator or DPO Unlimited as appropriate to the vessel class). ELYON will not place a DP-classed vessel on a charter requiring DP operations unless all DP documentation is current and all bridge officers assigned to DP watch hold the required NI certification.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
